While Turn 10 Studios’ Forza 4 is spilling into digital and retail shops all over the world, the official European release date is October 14. To help pass the time, a team of pro race mechanics are building a Tornado replica of Ford’s GT40 over six days in London’s Westfield shopping center.
The event is streaming live and asking for everyone’s participation in deciding what goes into the car. Daily votes on the Forza 4 LIVE build website website are going on for the next two days.
For UK voters, there is something very special if you vote. Each vote will count as an entry for a prize drawing to win the incredible road- and track-ready result. That’s right, UK voters can get the finished car, or so it says when you click to enter your vote. Insane!
This kind of public promotion is indeed mind-blowing; I am fascinated by public stunts such as this. So I ask all of RSC, what other public promotions for Forza 4 have you enjoyed? What wild promotions such as this can you think of that would be cool for a sim racing game?
