Today PS3 and Xbox 360 users can go download the free demo for EA Black Box’s Need for Speed: The Run. The full game drops November 15, giving players ample time to decide if they want want to throw down some cash this holiday for a thrilling arcade racing experience. Unfortunately, there is not demo for PC users at this time.
The demo offers two levels – Desert Hills and Independence Pass. Players can choose between two cars – the Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni or the 2012 Porsche Carrera S (if they refer a friend).
EA took this week’s demo launch to announce two major voice actors behind the game. Major props if you actually guessed who they were based on the character renders above. Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks stars as Sam Harper opposite Sean Faris (Ghost Machine and Never Back Down), who plays Jack Rourke, the lead.
While we know the voice acting talent is now being handled by at least one professional (Christina), it’s been largely unknown how Need for Speed: The Run actually handles until now. If you have a PS3 or Xbox 360, go ahead and download the demo and let us know what you think!
