GT Planet has the scoop on this one. Polyphony Digital took great pains to produce the above Gran Turismo trailer showing the new “Toyota 86” that just debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show. While it is not confirmed to be in any upcoming DLC, all the signs certainly suggest it is going to happen.
The car is debuted on what may be a barrier-free configuration of the Rome City circuit. That would make for at least one new track and car for a future DLC pack. With the last DLC pack having landed at the end of October,and the developers’ promise to have new content almost every two months, this means we should see new content around the end of December.
Then again, there’s always these rumored tracks that need to find their way home, too. What do you think will make it in the next Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2.0 update? What do you think of the new Toyota?
