More details have surfaced about the upcoming but non-confirmed Gran Turismo 5 XL Edition. Major online retailer NewEgg has the product listed for release in two weeks on January 17 for $39.99. The product details are even more telling as to what we can expect in this upcoming re-release. In addition to the base game, people can expect the following:
- All game patches/updates since launch, including new Spec 2.0 update released in October 2011
- Voucher for over $25 worth of DLC, including 25 new cars, 4 tracks, and more
- All of the DLC from October, December, and early 2012
This seems like quite the deal if gamers are getting all the recent paid DLC plus a voucher for even more content. At least, that’s how I read the details. Hopefully Polyphony or Sony will quit being coy and tell us everything we can expect out of this upcoming release.
