Sim Racing Hardware just posted a video of its new Thrustmaster T500 SLI Mounting System. The device is a unique concept that finally allows T500 wheel owners to enjoy the benefits of an on-wheel shift light system yet still retain the original wheel and fit without drilling or modifying the standard wheel.
There is no messy modding involved (though, this can be the fun part for some!); you simply undo one screw and re-fit it, the creators say.
The kit itself is going for 70 GBP or $110 USD and includes the following:
- 1x T500 Mount4x Rotary Encoders (fitted with shortened shafts)
- 4x Soft touch knobs for Encoders (re-sized and fitted to Encoders)
- 1x SLI Bolt Kit (fitted)
- 1x Pack of mounting hardware
