Fanatec CSR Wheel
After being out of stock for a bit, Fanatec confirms that the Forza Motorsport CSR wheel is back and prices lower than before. Thanks to large production volumes, Fanatec says it is able to reduce the manufacturing cost. It is worth noting that this wheel is multiplatform for Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. It has a wireless connection to Xbox360 and uses a USB cable to connect to PC and PS3.
The price for the CSR wheel is now reduced to just 199.95, and it now comes with an adapter for the G25 / G27 pedals. The CSR Value pack is now priced at just 249.95 and comes with the CSR wheel and CSR pedals.
Fanatec also offers the CSR Value Pack XL of CSR wheel, CSR Elite Pedals and the CSR Shifter Set for 359.95 instead of 459.95. With this pack, you get a multiplatform and belt driven wheel, load cell brakes, two metal shifters and much more.
Thomas also confirmed that Fanatec will bring new firmware for the CSR wheel with auto-clutch, and this feature will remain exclusive to the CSR and CSR Elite wheels.
