F1 2012 has four box art variant possibilities for its upcoming game, Codemasters shared via Facebook.
While not saying this is a marketing campaign similar to NASCAR The Game: Inside Line’s Choose the Cover, Codemasters wrote on Facebook “Make sure you LIKE the one that’s your favourite!” Cover choices include Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren, and Mercedes.
Having fans vote on their favorite cars usually leads to some not getting the design they wanted. Hopefully, the game will then ship with a reversible cover for the top two cars. However they decide, we’ll know before the game ships in September.
