F1 Online: The Game Moves to Open Beta

John Polson June 26, 2012

F1 Online: The Game has rolled out its open beta, meaning that anyone can try the free-to-play Formula One racing and team simulation. Codemasters Racing’s new browser-based title offers multiplayer races with all the stars, cars, and circuits of the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship.

With team management, players build up research and development, production, commercial development and race crew facilities. In addition to all the official licenses, players also get to customize their cars, teams, and even circuits.

Is it just me, or is this a testing ground for features in a next-generation release of F1? Either way, fans can now interact in an F1 season online for free. Click here to start playing.
