The 2011 Mazda (Miata) MX-5, 1993 Mazda RX-7 and 2007 Mazda RX-8 are now available on Simraceway.
2011 Mazda (Miata) MX-5
Since its 1989 launch, the Mazda MX-5 (Miata) has garnered a reputation as the value-conscious driving enthusiast’s choice. While it may not be the nippiest in its price bracket, its makers never intended it to be. Instead, what Mazda was aiming for was a car that stresses fundamentals first and foremost, in order to deliver an uncompromised driving experience at an affordable price.
1993 Mazda RX-7
First produced in 1978, the rotary-engined Mazda RX-7 is one of the most successful—and versatile—sports cars in racing history. On top of tasting victory at a catalogue of prestigious events, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 24 Hours of Spa, and the British Touring Car Championship, it’s also featured in an eclectic range of race series, including the World Rally Championship.
2007 Mazda RX-8
Heir to the super-successful RX-7, the Mazda RX-8 was first produced in 2003—although its roots can be traced back to the 1995 RX-01 concept car, which was powered by an early ancestor of its 13B-MSP rotary engine.Part of the first RX-8 generation, the 2004 model quickly set about bettering its celebrated forebear’s near-perfect handling, partly thanks to its new, ultra-compact powerplant, which could fit rearwards of its front axle.
