The 1964 Jaguar E-Type now available on Simraceway:

E-Type was launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show to a torrent of public acclaim. Enzo Ferrari described it as “the most beautiful car ever made”. And he knew a thing or two about beautiful cars. Its perfect proportions, sensuous lines, and sweeping hood proved irresistible to a litany of A-list celebrities, from George Best to Steve McQueen, and it quickly became a swinging 60s superstar in its own right, hardwired into the decade’s DNA. However this road-going, D-Type descendent wasn’t just a pretty face.

Its first two series could also call on the not insignificant services of Jaguar ‘s renowned XK6 engine, the powerplant that had breathed life into so many of the marque’s previous masterpieces. This mid-Series 1 model was the last to employ the 265-bhp 3.8-liter version, which could take it from 0-60 in a smidgen over seven seconds and to a top speed of nearly 150 mph.

We really don’t need to give you a reason to buy the elegant E-Type on Simraceway do we? Just look at it!
