Vote for Automation on Steam Greenlight!

Pete Walsh September 4, 2012

Just last week, Valve launched “Steam Greenlight“, a new platform that uses the community to determine which new indie games will make it to Steam. Developers post up screenshots, videos, and whatever other information they have on their software’s “profile” page, while a comment system lets users give feedback. It’s definitely not a unique concept (think Kickstarter, RocketHub, etc) but this is certainly an important development in the world of indie gaming  because of how huge and pervasive the Steam universe is; small indie studios on shoestring budgets have a serious chance to make it big.

Automation is exactly the type of game that Steam Greenlight is made for. Small independent studio? Check. Shoestring budget? Check. Quirky, unique, niche game that needs to find a wide public audience? Make that one a double check. And you, our beloved RaceSimCentral reader, are like a match made in heaven for this whole scenario. All you have to do is visit the Automation page on Steam Greenlight, login, and click the thumbs up to show your support.

Again, check out Steam Greenlight and vote for Automation. And then let me know if you find anything else worthwhile, especially in the racing category…
