Simraceway Rolls out Next Generation Skillquant
Simraceway has rolled out the next generation of their proprietary player matching system dubbed Skillquant. According to Simraceway:
First of all, you’ll see that the range of ratings has been changed from 1-100 to 500-1100, with each rating taking the form of a whole number, rather than using decimal places. If you look closely over time, you’ll also see that your rating fluctuates more frequently than it did previously.
These are both consequences of some important changes we’ve been making to our pioneering skill quantification tool as we improve things. Now, sector times factor more heavily into the results. We’re happy about the changes because they will ensure even more accurate ratings, which will, in turn, produce even more excitement out on the track.
As before, Skillquant is calculated in all your QuickRace, Hotlap and Challenge events, but never in Practice mode
